I'm also getting dirty disc error on all games that I copy to usb using freestyle dash  2.0 rc 1.6.

They show up in my games list but they don't play. All my other games that I put in GOD containers play just fine but when I rip from disc using the xbox360 to external usb drive they won't play.

Rewire your motherboard using aud_clamp wiring and i bet problem will be gone.
Before you rewire it you have to reflash it with a updated smc.bin to match the aud_clamp wiring.

Cool but what is it? I can't seem to locate that red ring error on any site. I guess I could rewire the JTAG but I'd like to at least know why I'm doing it.

Any thoughts on my DVD ripping problem?

Does the 360 boot up still even with that error? If not what is the secondary error code.
It might just be a ring of light defect caused by the old crappy jtag wiring and that is why i suggested using the improved smc code and new transistor wiring with aud_clamp.

Sorry, no idea on your dvd ripping issue. On all my jtag i just install a large internal drive and use the install to hard drive option.

Ripping problem went away with latest FSD. I'll rewire the JTAG and let you know.
