Help With Jtag Problem On Bb Jasper

You need to use xbrflash to format the MU within the xbox debian live cd.
There's a tutorial around here somewhere, I ran into that same problem.

Your issue is likely to be caused by a bad block.

Normally you'ld expect there to be an unmarked bad block, but there doesn't seem to be one.

I'd try remapping the bad block manually, assuming updflash.bin is your freeboot image.

CODE

nandpro flashdmp.bin: -r256 c08fd.bin c08 8
nandpro updflash.bin: -r256 c08up.bin c08 8
nandpro updflash.bin: -w256 c08up.bin ff8 8
nandpro updflash.bin: -w256 c08fd.bin c08 8

boot the debian cd again and use xbrflash to write your nand xellous doesn't support bad block management for  bb consoles i had the exact same problem and it is bad block related if you need to reread your nand threw lpt or usb and make notes of where the bad blocks are and u can manually remap them...though i do recommend using xbrflash as it is faster and it handles the bad blocks for you

@ravendrow: Not familiar with xbrflash at all, sounds nooby, but could you just type in exactly what command and parameters to use for flashing freeboot the right way, also do you put the updflash.bin (or whatever it's supposed to be named) on a usb stick?

Thanks to tk_saturn for looking into my nand, I appreciate the help and effort that you guys on the forum does.
Hopefully, if this ends well, this will be a great help to other people with the same problem  uhh.gif
