Help On A Half-done Jtag Hack
« on: December 05, 2010, 12:25:00 PM »

Ok, so you're using the Xecuter JTAG QSBs and a NAND-X?  What model of motherboard are you using?

Your ability to read and write to the NAND with a NAND-X has no bearing on whether or not your JTAG wiring is good.  If you're writing Xell, and when you power the 360 it goes to E71, then it's almost guaranteed to be your JTAG wiring/QSB.

When you try to flash Xell, what happens?  E71?  Blank screen?

Personally, I have never had any success with the JTAG QSBs.  That, and it's cheaper, easier, and more reliable to just use diodes if you're doing a Xenon, and transistors and resistors if you're doing any other model.
