So for starters I had someone else jtag my system. He gave me the original Nand (from a Jasper 256mb) in the form of a 68mb file. It was originally flashed with XBR3. I was able to upgrade it by dumping the flashed Nand of my XBR and overwriting it with the original 68mb file and was able to create an "original" nand that way that and running it through Bestpigs older tool to create a Freeboot 0.32 image. Now I can't seem to do that anymore and when I try to combine the files Nandpro gives me an error that it couldn't find the virtual nand. I use this command:
nandpro original.bin: -w256 overwrite.bin but it errors everytime, even if I just try to read it whereas it works fine when I work with a nand dump of my older 360 one with a 16mb nand. Any suggestions? I've also tried this on a different OS same problem.
different approach.
1) flash360 or xellous dump your current (fb0.032) nand out to usb. (directly on your 360)
2) use that as your input to bestpig's latest version.
3) use flash360 to write the new fb0.04 image to your box.
4) profit.
