Topic: Dvd2xbox 0.5.2 Bug (Read 50 times)

Everytime i run dvd2xbox from Avalaunch w/ a game in the dvd drive it freezes at the main menu where it describes what buttons to press to do certain actions. If i run the app w/out a game in the dvd drive, it runs fine. I have tried multiple discs and still no luck. Please help

I have that prob where it freezes when you boot up with a game, but if there is no game in the drive it works fine. I found out that if you have the game in the tray but don't close it, you can go to copy cddvd and it will close the tray and work fine.

Guys, what makes your boxes different to other ones ? The bug is hardly to find if we don't find an answer to this questions.

My fix that I posted doesn't work, it only worked for KotOR. I found another way to get around this, you push B to go into the browser, then hit back and then you can hit A to copy to the HDD.

I have a
V1.0 xbox
matrix modchip
4977 bios that I color edited
120 gig Maxtor hdd
MXM dash

I even tried booting dvd2xbox through evox to no avail with all igr's off.

I just recently used the newest slayers install to format my new 120 gig maxtor, maybe that is what we have in common.

Could someone please be so kind to test after deleting the dvd2xbox savegame and if this doesn't work the whole other save games (make a backup first

) ?

I had the same problem as the rest.... finally just put 5.1 back on

thompson dvd
newest evox
xecuter2.2pro (with the latest xecuter bios)
