Xbr To Freeboot Now Gives A Bad Block
« on: November 24, 2010, 02:54:00 PM »

Hi.

Got a jtaged Falcon with XBR.  Backuped NAND with Flash360, which gave a perfect dump.
Upgraded Xell to Xellous, then flashed Freeboot constructed over the XBR flash dump.
It had no Xellous, so I used updslot0 method through Flash360 which rendered the NAND unusable.

Wired LPT, tried to upload NAND, which gave Error 300 on everything above 300.
Flashed Xellous only, then fed it with the Freeboot nand from above(USB). Xellous remapped some bad blocks.

The console works OK with Freeboot and Xellous, however Flash360 dumps NAND with a single bad block at 29E.

Is there anything I shoud worry about?

I just cant understand why the original XBR image dumped without BBs, but the upgrade to Freeboot has BBs.
