I have an xdk I just recently got, I'd like to get the cpu key but the only way seems to be the old kk exploit.  For that I need dash 4548 or a little lower.  Is there a way to downgrade?  My current flash is 9328.  I'm not expecting anything, I'm new here and just thought I'd ask for the hell of it, (or is there is a new method of obtaining the cpu key)

*NOTE this is not a JTAG, I can't boot into xell to get it.  Don't say that, this is a Dev Kit.

 If you can find someone with that (5426) recovery (unlikely) then yes you can downgrade and get your CPU key. Make a friend around that has an XDK most of us might have it  I personally wouldn't share if i did.  With the KK hack you still boot Xell just off of a disc but it's still the same Xell we all know and love.  You can find the pre-compiled binary for the CPU key/nand dumper somewhere or just the source file. I do believe you have to do it from source on a dev to choose the option to build for dev or retail or maybe someone gave me a special version i can't remember?!?

 
 Are you doing any Developing or are you using it for homebrew or what? Just wondering because alot of people can get them easily now so most are just getting them instead of Jtag modded systems, and not really developing anything using them.

 Hope that answers your question...yes it's possible but you can't download that recovery from a torrent site you can only get it from someone passing it on to you

Yes, you can downgrade an xdk to any version.

Finding an exploitable recovery wont be easy though.

Also, why do you want your cpu key, it's useless on an xdk.

@Inspuration Your CPU key isn't useless on any 360.
And running the exploit lets you run linux it doesn't just give you your CPU key. I do sort of agree that if you don't need your CPU key it is a little less useful for an XDK but it is nice to have it when you open a dump in flash tool.
 
@OP: If you are doing some developing and not just using the machine for piracy or to leak shi* off of the P word then someone will eventually be willing to share that with you. And really unless your trying to run Linux for fun you don't need just your CPU key for much of anything. It is a good thing to have but don't worry to much about it.
