Cygnos V2

You may need to erase your NAND and reflash.  If you cannot erase your NAND with the current Cygnos Toolbox try to look for an older version like v1.05.  However, if you have Cygnos V2 w/o the dual NAND only the more current Toolbox will work.

Now it gets to the bad part.  Since it was installed by a pro I don't know if you will be able to do this troubleshooting.  Remove Cygnos and wire it up for LPT.  Test with nandpro and see it could detect the flash controller.  Erase with nandpro if you can and then hook Cygnos back up.  If nandpro does not recognize the flash controller hooking Cygnos back up may still resolve it.  I went through some long nights trying to resurrect a falcon mobo but redoing my work and erasing the nand I was able to flash freeboot back on.

It's a buggy little device and not really needed anymore.  I got Cygnos when it first came out and used it for a while.  I did some dual nand stuff and loved the fast flashing.  After playing around with it so much, the lack of help from the Cygnos forums and getting a USB nand flasher I ended up removing Cygnos.  It just sits a tray with other outdated modchips. lol

Yeah thanks for that mate, I will have to take it back to the installer, because the removing thing is way above my station in life, yeah about the cygnos support you post their and no one seems to respond, I think the problem is I didn't patch the smc which I understand has to be done for it ?
Anyway thanks for your reply's
