Ap2.5 Checks & Fall 2010 Dash
« on: October 30, 2010, 12:51:00 PM »

Hi,
If I have FreeBoot 0.032 and I want to play the new games - from HDD (fable3,etc...)
As long as I deleting the $systemUpdate folder is it safe to play those games and the risk is only for those that play from DVD drive OR my console is in "risk" too?

thanks.

It should be safe to play them without doing anything. These games at the very most contain update 9199 and you already have that.

Here is what I have been thinking. Inject a KV into your system that has the OSIG as Samsung and then these games should skip the check completely seeing as sammys don't support ap2.5

it's always safest to just remove the update folder. Why risk it if you MIGHT be running an oldr dashboard (8955). I also think it's just a good habit.

OSIG solution sounds like it might work. Has anyone tested?
