Xbox 360 Error Codes

Sounds like the DVD-ROM could be what's causing problems (the E6x codes are mostly DVD-ROM related). It could also be a problem with the wiring (E7x which are dashboard-related).

What motherboard revision is it?

I can't say as I don't fully understand how the 360 logs and responds to errors in the system hardware or software. I know that I've seen similar problems before (I sold a system to a guy without realizing I'd put the wrong drive in the unit. It often gave him E64 errors), and they tended to be sporadic in their appearance. It might be that the 360 logs a non-fatal error on the next boot after reporting it, but that's purely a guess.

As for the revision, Xenon is your revision. Each new motherboard has a new name (Xenon, Zephyr, Falcon, Opus, Jasper, etc.), so there's nothing to remember beside that. Your revision should have no negative impact on your experience, so I don't think it's directly related to the problem.

However, are you sure the Xenon is in a fully-functioning state? It's possible that it's on the verge of death by RRoD/E74. What specific E7x errors are you getting?

I didn't notice Xenon in the title. Sorry. I guess I wasn't paying too much attention. As for the 1.2, that's for original Xbox. It was just Xbox 1.2, 1.4, etc. The 360 just has names for similar revisions.

At this point I'm not really sure what to say. Unless you tell me the specific error codes there's not a lot of troubleshooting that can easily be done.

and I've got the exact same problem with both of these. They seem to reboot randomly and sometimes not so randomly.

Wouldn't say the exact same problem smile.gif Mine never reboots randomly. I get an error on first boot, after that it works perfectly.

Example: My friends and I were playing Rainbow Six Vegas Coop over Xlink and every time him or I would get to a certain point in a particular level they would reboot.

My console has never rebooted during gameplay.
