ok before its asked
jasper 256 cb 6712 cd 6712 ce 1888
2008-11-12 man date

so should be jtagable
jtag is in place and wires have been checked same config as I use for falcons never had an issue
no bad blocks till 200+ range

flash xell  (jasper_6723_hack_256MB_512MB.rar)

nandpro usb: -w256 jasper_6723_hack_for_256mb_512mb.bin 0

flashed kv

nandpro usb: -w256 kv.bin 1 1 (have seen some say use -w16 so i have tried it both ways no go )

even tried xell+xellous no go
nandpro usb: +W16 xell-1f.bin 30    (redme said to use +w16 so i did )

have reflashed xell and kv and xellous still nothing (many times)

only green center light

have not flashed orig back and pulled jtag as it takes forever to dump (yet)

(update tried the 330 resister in place of the jumper still no go)
Added note this is my jasper not a customers or something and it sucks lol
redownloading jasper vers of xell and xellous and reflashing see what happens

flashed xell and xellous combined to jasper still no go )*@&$)*@&%)*

flashing back to orig pulling jtag make sure all is well then ill grab new wires and dioeds

This is going to sound stupid, but, are you patching the SMC I/O ports and wiring diferently maybe?

Also, you didn't mention the stock dash version on nand (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

These days, you just never know!

dont rember the dash anymore  (think it had blades) been weeks since I dumped it

but lost me on the  SMC I/O ports  i/o patches

wasnt aware of any patches needed to run xellous
http://pictures.xbox-scene.com/xbox360/fre...pus-jasper).png  wiring i always use on hdmi models

I have redone the jtag new everything cont checked all is good
tried xbr 3 this time nothing

going to reflash orig nand see if it boots  shakes head finally get a jasper and this happen )*&@)%
this will make my 49th jtag and have only had trouble  including this one 3 times
and one of them was the usb flasher went flaky
other was a picky xenon (recently)
now jasper .........................

Orig nand restored jtag removed system is fine  and system is 2.0.6717.0 blade dash
so im back to square 1 .

the smc from what i read is so far complicated as hell ... might be the tut I found most tuts confuse with much uneeded info.

So all the tuts are wrong on jaspers????
or if you have issues then use the smc patch ?

have read 4 or 5 tuts mentioning jaspers and none said anything about smc patching

Ok read a newer tut with smc patching etc ..... abotu to say heck with it ans stick with my falcon.

but the jasper will be a waste wasnt aware of issues with jaspers I know zephers suck have done 4 and 3 get e errors and reset once and a while so smc patching and wiring probably would help

getting frustraited so i must call it a night on this
have 2 xenons to do so ill have to come back to mine

hoping to get this up without all that extra crap

Have you tried the pre-compiled versions of xellous?

CODE
http://ep-comps.com/free60/xell/_xellous/jasper_hack_bigblock_xellous.zip

Flash that with that file. No need to inject KV as all you after is your cpu key:
CODE
nandpro usb: -w256 jasper_hack_bigblock_xellous.bin 0

Unplug console for 10 seconds.
Connect your dvd drive.
Connect vga or composite video cable.
Check all jtag wiring is correct.
Then boot with eject.

If your console still does not boot to xellous then try soldering to the alt points (reverse jtag).
