360 Flash Dump Tool
« Reply #15 on: May 30, 2010, 08:52:00 PM »

Sorry to double post.

These are the only Backup/Data value configs I have:

JasperBB:  4055;97BB;CF4A;D674;404B;2574;5A4A;8D75

Falcon:      2257;58BB;614B;F473;CC4B;5073;004B;8974

Can anyone confirm they have the same values?

These values may be individually measured for your console (generation). I think temp sensors underlie manufacturing tolerances that need fine tuning (multiply/shift raw values) to get values into proper range (calibration).
My Jasper16 and Falcon values are different.

Thats what I was guessing. Any chance you could post your jasper values so I may further experiment?

ive been busy! my GPU heatsink showed up so i fitted it and a fan for it which is quietly running on 7V, which seems to be perfect. i have talismoon whisper fans and i ran it on bioshock 2 for a while then looked at the temps.

62, 52, 47

so after a bit of tweaking i decided on these settings for flash dump tool:

065°C;060°C;058°C  -  080°C;075°C;073°C

its behaving quite nicely so far. i just taped up all the holes around the air tunnel, and also chopped up an old dvd enclosure and internalised my 1TB HD. this is a bit of a mess (you can see the drive lolling at an angle!), but it fits nicely inside now.

next is to cut a vent for my gpu fan in the case. i was gonna use my XCM smoke black case again, but i have decided that it is so utterly abysmal that im gonna go back to the original case.

That is pretty impressive man , i put a much smaller fan on mine and just used the unpopulated header , and bridged the points close to it to give it power , but that looks nice. i love the 3.5'' sata drive in the dvd drive thats sweet.
When i water cool mine i am going to replace the dvd drive with a temp sensor bay , and maybe externalize the dvd drive in case i need it. but i am going to cut the face plate and try to get it flush with front. It's going to be a bitch but the DVD drive is a 5.25 bay and so is the temp sensor bay i am looking at.

I will have a new Jtag of my own tomorrow. I have 4 to play with tonight , the 5th 1 gave me rrod and I told him its his problem to reflow it. He is a repair guy he just doesn't do the Jtag so he brings them to me , up to number 40 for him today.

I am using 360 flash dump tool to up all his fan speeds for him , They were all Xenons except a Falcon is giving me sound but no video , and it boots the same way with it Jtagged or stock so it is a hardware issue for sure.

I do plan on spending some cash on my watercooling system actually. I am getting a new system for $40 USD with a broken DVD drive , Jtaggable. And i can just swap the drive from my broken one into it , so really once i spend the money on a watercooling system i will just be up to the cost of a brand new system.

I do also plan on replacing the drive with a 5.25' temp sensor bay. I am looking at the Aquabay M5 i think , i have it bookmarked. And the koolance water blocks. It will all be posted here and my website when i get around to it and i have the money for everything.
