How Do I Re-size My Nand From 68mb To 66mb?
« on: May 21, 2010, 09:37:00 AM »

Hi, i'm trying to use freeBOOT Toolbox to create freeboot image of my nand for large block jasper consoles, but for some reason when i dumped the nand, it did so at 68mb and not 66mb.

The toolbox will not accept anything that is not 16, 66, 256 or 512mb in size.

I heard you can do this through nandpro but i have searched for a good while and not found any more info about this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

name your nand dump to old.bin

Type " nanpro old.bin: -r66 new.bin "

this should make a 66mb nand bin file.

Hey, thanks for the reply, i tried it and it made a an image of the same size but called new.bin instead.
Nandpro gives the end block as follows with the command you gave.

"Ending block: 0x00107F"

Thanks for the suggestion tho!

Any other ideas?

Ok got it, its "nandpro old.bin: -r64 new.bin"
Creates a 66mb file that ends with offset 0FFF

Awesome, thanks for your help man!!
