I have a 6xxx Backup of my Original NAND which I don't want to update because of two reasons 1) I'd have to open the console again and resolder my LPT cable and 2) creating 100% correct and error free Images was enough pain in the ass, so I dont realy want to go through that trouble again.
Wouldn't it be possible for someone with a 7371 Kernel to decrypt it with his CPU-Key and upload the files (maybe to the usual places) ?.
So I download it and encrypt with my CPU-Key and inject KV and config into the Image?

I like your Idea... I also wonder if this is possible?

Could somebody please explain me the differences between XBR3 and FreeBOOT (without flaming)?

Is this "the same like XBR"?
Is it better to wait for XBR4, or should I install this?

I have XBR3 installed on my Zephyr and get random RROD errors when booting, so I want to update.

Sorry for the question, but I thought FreeBoot was only developed for Cygnos   (IMG:style_emoticons/default/uhh.gif)

Thanks

use the libeay32.dll inside here: http://www.lastwebpage.de/Miranda/Win32OpenSSL-0_9_8h.zip
just tested it on Win 7 x64 w/o problems !
(Install it where ibuild.exe is)

if so whats the easiest way to get it?

are there any useful new features compared to xbr3, or does xbr3 have some important feature this freeboot doesnt have

I'm having trouble extracting my original filesystem from my jasper-nand image.
Getting 'Data in block 0, page 0, plane 0 is corrupted.Unhandled exception,' , my falcon nandimage has no problem extracting. Tried XP and W7 x64. I tried Flashtool, but it does not extract all files needed, so it seems?

Anyone could give me an idea?

ps: thanks Ikari and the team for this great release!

thanks!

I think I build it of a 5er Kernel and it works great for me...

I used that dump...
