isn't there a chance of changing your cb to a non exploitable when you update to the 7371 dash? and has anyone tried to build with the pre 7371 dash? only reason i ask was because i heard that the 7371 dash is iffy for homebrew

yes its iffy its its REPAIRED or sold around june 09
but normal UPDATE isn't.. you can get it here:
http://ep-comps.com/free60/
fact is the updated CB was AFTER the release of 7xxx .. so they didn't change the zip just their upgrade line

owyea for xellious users
just replace xell-2f.bin in the bin folder with the xellious one.

need to know the same thing,

can't we just insert the kv and config bin in the 73bin?(i still have all the bad block info for the nands)
and use that instead.

i have a bunch of nands that are on older dashes.

No, this isn't XBR. freeBOOT builds proper images.

Can anyone try this on a Zephyr board and let me know if they are getting these random RROD problems still? That would be sweet if that stopped happening from the "buggy" XBR3 release for it?  *shrug*

Few questions that I don't see the answers for:

1.- Is it xell or xellous? how do you access it from powerup?

2.- what about bad block management? Is this done when building the image with ibuild, or do we still have to use other apps to do that? since xellous or Flash360 doesn't properly remap them (at least my falcon it doesn't do it right and boots to E71, I have to use badblockmapper in windows).

Thanks in advance. I looking forward to update my console's onboard nand with this, but I need to know this.

I have a 6xxx Backup of my Original NAND which I don't want to update because of two reasons 1) I'd have to open the console again and resolder my LPT cable and 2) creating 100% correct and error free Images was enough pain in the ass, so I dont realy want to go through that trouble again.
Wouldn't it be possible for someone with a 7371 Kernel to decrypt it with his CPU-Key and upload the files (maybe to the usual places) ?.
So I download it and encrypt with my CPU-Key and inject KV and config into the Image?
