how to extract the dvd key from backup of a nand.bin file

i extracted nand an im just want the dvd key to be able to play (use) dvd rom because i lost my dvd key

do i need a jtag wiring because i don't want homebrew just want my dvd key

You need to flash XeLLous to your system, via the JTAG exploit, and it will tell you the DVD key when you boot your console into it. Otherwise, you will need the CPU key and 360 Flash Tool to find it out. If you do not have the console's CPU key, then flashing XeLLous will be your only option.

im scared to flash it with wrong *.bin

i see that it is not for everyone and not easy

nand went ok an easy bu this is hard part for me
to many unknown files to me

im decide to just use xell
but now im don understand what xell.bin to use because in tutos they are saying to get right one for each mobo
my mobo is jasper and dash is 2.0.7363.0

is this good

That is good as long as the console was manufactured before June 18th 2009.

You may as well go ahead and flash XBR and get homebrew running on that.

here is some problem
i write downloaded file xell.bin for jasper

just to get blue screen with cpu key bu when i write it to nand using nandpro2ob.exe i cant turn my xbox

do i need to solder jtag points and how to start xbox

did you download the right xell for your board? if you did then did you inject your rawkv into the xell file before you flashed it? Im just going on lunch but I will list the commands for you when I get back.

Ok well first thing you need to do is make sure you know what version of the jasper you have, its ever the 16mb one or the 256/512mb jasper (the one with build in memory units). Then get the correct verseion of Xell for your 360.
   

For 16MB Jaspers you need jasper_6723_hack.rar
For the 256/512mb jaspers you need jasper_6723_hack_256MB_512MB.rar

Then get Xellous (XeLLous_v1.0.zip)

Next you need your raw keyvault from the original nand dump (im guessing you have called it nand1.bin, this command will give you a file called rawkv.bin which you need to get anything new to boot.

nandpro nand1.bin: -r16 rawkv.bin 1 1

Now you need to inject your raw kv into the Xell image.

nandpro jasper_6723_hack.bin: -w16 rawkv.bin 1 1

Next you want to inject Xellous into the Xell imange

nandpro jasper_6723_hack.bin: +W16 xell-1f.bin 40

Now you have a file called jasper_6723_hack.bin that is your consoles keyvault and Xellous in it, so you then flash that back to your console using:

nandpro lpt: -w16 jasper_6723_hack.bin 0

After this is done power down for 30 seconds and then boot up using the dvd eject button you should get your keys that you were after. You will probably then want to flash it to XBR the steps are in that guide I sent you before (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You will also need the JTAG wiring in place for this to boot.

what error code is the RROD? also if you flash back your oringinal nand

for 16mb Jaspers
nandpro.exe lpt: -w16 nand1.bin

for 256mb Jaspers

after i returned nand1.bin (backup) it turns on

it wont work

but still nothing

the mobo is from elite so i figure it is 16mb jasper
i know it is jasper by the power connections
