Just to ask a dumb question or two. Is that you board in the pic? if so were is the jtag wiring? E79 is usually a sign that your wiring is bad/wrong.

It's late so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if you swapped the nand over you've also got to swap the cpu over or you'll have the wrong cpu key for the nand

thats the whole reason hes flashing it.

and the last post, he makes a valid point. if that is the picture of your install, where are the jtag wires?

e79 is usually an issue with the jtag wiring.. 2 diodes and a bridge.. or 3 resistors......

Why would you take a NAND off another board before doing a lot more work to try and get it working? You probably messed up the soldering if you don't even know how to flash it properly , no offense im just saying.
I have done all of mine with an LPT cable and only one has ever failed too boot , and i also accidently deleted my original flash , but all you need is the Kv and Config you don't HAVE to have the backup it is just for safety , you do have to have the kv and config however. You are also supposed to dump multiple times to check for bad blocks , if you keep getting the same one or ones just write your Kv and Config too the XBR image and flash it , and it will be fine.  In my case the bad block i had that was causing my problems was physically in the chip as i could not read write or erase that block it would get halfway through the boot animation and then give me e79 , I had an xbox 1 with almost the exact same problem and an xecuter modchip fixed it , you could try an older cygnos with the dual NAND instead of trying to swap it off another board.

wow that is pretty nutz...i cant imagine the reasoning but i would like to share....

recently saw an error 79 xenon jtag...my understanding is this error due to not starting dashboard file...if you lack the the jtag wiring and the nand you solder has xbr shouldnt it boot to 3 red rings?

since you get error 79 my guess is more along the lines of the cpu key...i think ur not even getting to the 3 ring point due to cpu rejecting key...just a guess...

Yes e79 is cannot start xam.xex , but probably other things as well. It can also be caused by a normal 3rol problem. Normally when you put a bad keyvault in you get christmas lights i have had that happen before. And another thing is the Jtag wiring , on the Zephyrs the e79 occasionally happens for some reason mine does it after i turn it off and unplug it usually , and i believe it is because of the diodes attached to the rol board on that one point , seems mostly to be on the Zephyrs though.
Maybe give us some more details on what exactly you have accomplished  we can help more. If you put the donor NAND on your exploitable MoBO you have to flash XBR with the Kv and Config from that MoBo and it should be fine.

Ok now i know your full of shit but thanks for the time wasting. You should understand what you are doing before you post a new topic. If you thought you needed to take the NAND off and put it in an EEPROM programmer you clearly have no concept of what this mod is. That and you thinking you can run it without the Jtag wires , you clearly have no clue about any of it.

Why would you go through all that hastle desoldering the whole chip!? You wire up an spi in about 5 mins.

Yes you do need the 3 JTAG wires in place as its required to trigger the hack. Otherwise e79

hmmm, i dont know how you are pro in this modding, but i fixed and Flashed three console with Eprom Programmer instead of using jtag wiring and all are working clearly without problem. if you wanne do me a favor, just send xell.bin file suitable for my console specifications

NTSC-Uc Zephyr Dashboard 7371 CB-1888

PS: i downloaded xell.bin file from various sites and now i will try any xell.bin file you will send me. If it doesnt work, i will try jtag wiring (old and homebrew method who dont have professional equipments) for YOU

No see you didn't do that. You can't do that it is a requirment for the Hack you are wasting forum space by not reading. Trying to sound like a pro does not make you one , you may have soldering skills to remove a chip , but you are claiming something that is not possible. your CB also wouldn't be 1888 on a Zephyr.  I will  not send you xell you can get it yourself it isn't hard , and nothing anyone sends you is going to have the Kv and Config you need for your machine anyways. No one here asks people to send them stuff they know how to get it on their own.

I hate seeing some much stupidity on this site. I can wait for other people to come in here and ream you for being stupid but i just don't have anything better to do today. The reason you aren't getting much response is people have read it saw you know nothing and ignored it.

what you opened another thread with same question?? LOL

Your employee dump the nand and flashed it back.hahaha....  laugh.gif  No comments on this.

Is that a topic title?? "Professional Error biggrin.gif"  rolleyes.gif  it should be "Super Noob Error biggrin.gif"

from your other comments I highly dought you have any conception about jtagging. Your justing bluffing.

Seriously in my opinion if you came up more nicely and not that arrogant way there are many people love to help you.

Anyway until unless you boot into xell you dont have much hope left.

Your duplicate post should be reported to mods.
