Logitech Momo Wheel On Xbox
« on: August 29, 2004, 08:22:00 PM »

ok so i couldnt take it anymore i had to go get the sweet ass Logitech MOMO racing wheel.
its got real force feedback not the silly rumble stuff the cheap wheels have.

and i read in one review that since it was USB that it actually worked on the PS2, i havnt confirmed this yet as the wheel hasnt arrived.

and my next thought was, ok i got the usb adapters for the xbox i hope this works on my xbox. ( i bet it wont but its worth a shot)

has anyone actually tried any PC usb driven steering wheels on the xbox.
if so which ones ?

id die happy if this works on the xbox. hell yeah. finally TOCA Race Driver 2 the way it was meant to be played, and the up coming Juiced, and TOCA 1 and MS ralli sport challenge 1 and 2 man the list goes on and on.

Ye man i tried usin this one steering wheel with it, got it cheap tho from the over stock store heh, its called the hmm.... V3 Advanced FX raceing Wheel by InterAct. and WOO what sold me is that its also " OFFICIALLY ENDORSED BY DALE EARNHARDT JR".  woo hoo nah jus kiddin it jus was dirt cheap and brand new, and it was a usb with Force feedback (shakes)

Anyways yea i tried hookin it up to the xbox, tried to run Juice, PGR2 , RallySport2,
and all of them prove to be no good. meh wahtever i got plenty of good racein games on the pc,

Iheard xbox AND ps2 are realy picky on what usb items can be used (because of driver issues) They re not like pc where u can jus go an install any driver u want.

Prolly best to wait (and save up) for a Good Xbox Specific steering wheel to come along.
