See now you guys are all talking about E79 randomly. Mine does it 100% of boot ups now, all wires are fine. I hope a new update to XBR solves this sad.gif. Can I reflash xbr from USB if my console is E79? Please let me know

is there any difference bwtween flashing via usb spi and xbrflash via linux?
does linux do a better job?

yeah. over lpt/usb spi you're depending on that cable to transfer the xbr image. and from all the posts about reading/writing errors, it doesn't look that stable. flashing with linux, the 360 is loading the image into ram and flashing directly. this way seems to be 200% more reliable in my opinion, think about it.
