Just wondering if anyone had it going??, and also how you did it, does its dir need to be called somthing special, i have noticed that whatever it IS named thats its name in EVO-X list, I have found NO other progs/games/homebrews to do this my guess is the way the XBE is written ??!!

Anyhow it was obtained from the #xbins and after unraring the file getting the needed files i then FTP'ed it across to the xbox.

All that happens when i try to run it is i see my Evo-X boot screen and it will just stay like that until i press a button on the controller, when i do press a button the screen fades back into my Evo-X menu ??

Any help or suggestions would be welcome please !! :evil:

As he said as his first sentence, you need this file to run Duke Nukem 3D. You can find it in the other usual place

This is strange.. I copied the duke3d.grp file into the same directory as xbd-duke (47.09 mb) and it does not work. This file is from atomic edition. All it does is go back to the ExoX screen after a while. Do I need to edit an ini file or put it in a different subdirectory?

I read on the forums from the official DukeX site (http://www.lantus-x.com/ClassicX/) that lots of people seem to be having the identical problem. It just shows the EvolutionX screen until you hit a button and then it goes back to EvoX menu. Strangeness.

The file I'm putting in there is DUKE3D.GRP from Atomic Edition. I have the latest BIOS for my X2Lite chip too. This is the only piece of software that does not run on my XBox. Doom, ROTT, emulators all work.

well i had the same problem but had been using the standart (not atomic) edition. Using the atomic edition file worked fine then tho. Maybe you guys are using a non-english version or something like that? I m using a usa atomic edition file + x2 bios , works fine now. I also ONLY copied the grp file , nothing else (none of the cfg files mini files etc)

I've downloaded the *.rar file from xbins en ftp'ed to my hd but it doesen't work, so i've found this topic and i see that i need ths(=DUKE3D.GRP) file, but where can i get it? It's not on xbins.
I dunno if i can request this file cause i don't know if it's a illegal file or not??

But anyway i've found the file, i wish the've put in the readme that the file u need was from the pc version of duke3d

Damn you are sooo stupid!! That is the fucking main file of Duke3D!
It is like if you say... "it asked for baseq2 folder!" Where do i download that??
