hello, i have been looking through several forums on using dvd x2 , and i notice most posts mention installing it on hard drive and using it through evo x , i don't want to do this yet , as i am not going to install evo x , until i know all of its features, and how to use them.

So if i want to use dvd x2 as a standalone application is it a case of just inserting the cdrw and then the dvd movie ?

is there a prompt message of when to insert the dvd disc ?

i  have a executer lite 2 chip btw

Yes, afaik you can run dvdx2 from a cdrw, just boot it and swap the dvd.
