Slayer Locking Up

I just bought a Western Digital 80 GB hard drive (WD800JB). I have looked and it is lockable. I have Slayers on a CD but when I try to do anything, rebuild, format, even use ConfigMagic, Slayers stops responding. The hard drive is brand new, just out of the box.

I used this CD on a previous hard drive but found out it wasn't lockable so I know it works.
