kind of a quick question
if i have pal games that are not region free already on discs and i dont want to copy them to hdd and patch the xex but to play them directly from dvd
is there any way that xbr running on an ntsc console will load them without checking the discs region
cuz i have tons of games on disc that i dont want to copy to hdd but want to play directly from disc

Currently you can't play a region-locked game from the disc, not even with XBR. There are other ways to that, but not from DVD.

You may extract the data from the game disc.

patch .xex files and burn to DVD-R (if it fits) or DVD+R DL as data dvd (not xbox iso)

And XBR will run them just fine.

The only other way is to open your orig.bin with 360 Flash Tool patch the KV to PAL/NTSC/J save image use nand pro to extract the rawkv and rawconfig write them to xbr.bin and use Flash360 to backup then flash the modified xbrpal.bin (updflash.bin).I did just that and it worked game booted fine

all this done in 10min

Hope this helps because i just did it for the hell of it
