Urgent Hard Drive Info

If you plug it in to the old xbox and turn it on it will come up with a message saying you have to update for security reasons or something and if you accept this will update it to the latest dash and render your xbox un jtagable so i suggest you dont plug it in at all until you jtag it and put xbr on it.

Definitely do the JTAG hack first and then install XBR onto the NAND.  Even after that it still may ask to update your console but at this point it should recognize that you have the updated dash and just install the Avatar update.
