330ohm Resistors Or Switching Diodes?
« on: January 12, 2010, 03:58:00 AM »

I have successfully JTAG'ed a couple of Xenon boards & used 330ohm resistors for the JTAG points.
I got myself a Falcon 360 yesterday with an exploitable dash.

The schematic ive seen for the Falcon, Jasper, Opus & Zephyr boards says to use switching diodes
http://www.se7ensins...-nand-xell.html

The Xenon pic on that page also shows the use of diodes but the Xenon pic on X-S uses 330ohm resistors & i have used these successfully.

So my Q? is will 330ohm resistors work on the other board revs or does it HAVE to be switching diodes for them? uhh.gif

Cheers

Thanks for the rapid reply.
I had seen that pic before, so the answer is.... yes resistors will work but diodes are safer?
