So I finally talked my buddy into trading me his 360 that hasn't been updated in over a year.
Anyways, I need some advice on how to move forward...

I think I have the soldering part on the 360 MB down.

It's the connection to the PC that I am having issues/confusion with.
I recently built my PC and I don't have a LPT port.
Is it worth getting a PCI LPT card? And if so what kind of specs should it obtain?
I've read things about voltage (3.3/5V)

Also, I was looking into going USB with the Olimex LPC-H2148.
Now programming it is where the confusion starts...
I've done some research.
Down towards the end of that thread they say that the Programmer is not necessary if you have the equivalent of a Ck3 tool.
I have a Maximus Xtractor tool.
I believe this is the equivalent but I am not sure.
If I crack this open could I possibly program my Olimex board?
(I also have a USB to Serial cable lying around if I need to program with the serial programmer.)

I figure each solution is about the same price... ~$40 (Olimex board vs. PCI LPT card).

It won't work with a PCI LPT card
so you would have to go with USB.
