3 Red Lights And 1 One Bad Block Flashing Xbreboot Falcon
« on: January 04, 2010, 09:52:00 PM »

I'm having the exact same issue.

What I'm doing right now is something I read here: http://forums.xbox-s...owtopic=700917#

See if it works for you.

I'm currently reflashing and see if it all goes well.

Good luck to you too.

I got no bad blocks, but I can't get anything but rrod  sad.gif

I'm doing my last attempt.

What I haven't done and what I'll end up doing last is flashing orig.bin and remove jtag hack and see if it boots up.

I hate this cause I actualy got to boot into xbr, set language and region. Power off, removed the cables to read and write to nandm connected dvd rom and that's where it all went wrong.

Edit: If I remove JTAG when XBR is installed it boots to E79 btw.

Second Edit: All is failure, I'm reflashing orig.bin back to see if I didn't burn anything. I'll post back results.

i have the same issue on a falcon. if i boot up with jtag wires i get 3 red lights. if i remove the wires e79.
i had it working before but i had to resolder some parts.
I'll now try to flash back orig.bin and see what happens then.

To make the long story short, this is what I did and what happened.

I deleted the whole nand by "nandpro lpt: -e16 0 400".

all went well and very fast, after I reflashed clean xbr.bin, than flashed my keyvault.

Nothing.

I gave it another go, but this time while flashing the nand, it got stuck at write error blocks 200 and all the next.

I aborted, shutdown everything and power back on. This time I deleted all, and wrote the orig.bin to the NAND.

Removed JTAG, Programer, etc. and BAM! RROD even with stock nand.

Hours and hours of thinking about this and I came to the conclusion that I must of shorted something when i put my dvd drive back on and maybe that's why I don't respond.

But it still doesn't make any sense whey I get E79 when XBR is installed and JTAG off.

I think I just fuxxord my 360  ph34r.gif

Oh, well, gotta go find another to do the same (well, except for the killing the box part).

Just so you all know, It worked fine, I was starting to use XEXLoader, so the XBR is not the issue, It was a user error (tecnician wanna be error).

Cheers.
