Zero Paired Nand Image
« on: January 04, 2010, 01:44:00 PM »

Can anyone explain what a zero paired nand image is please?

Is there any way to convert from a non zero paired one to a zero paired one and vice-versa?

Also, is there any way you can modify the content of a zero paired image (ie, the smc.bin part) and still have it work?

Thanks

A Zero paired image is XBReboot nand. You get information from a non zero paired image (e.g MS Nand from your console) and inject data into the XBR.

Instructions are here:

all MS nands have a "Paired" value. each value is console specific.  most after market nands (XBR or Freeboot) are zero paired.

as fr what exactly it means, im not sure.

The values that you need to insert to pair your nand image to your console are zeroes in the image, hence zero-paired.
