Damn, I got unlucky. I just received my Pro from Sainsbury's and it's a Falcon, so that's going back.

It's lot number 0839X manufactured on 24-9-2008.

Would a Pro manfactured in 2009 be guaranteed to be a Jasper?

Yes, Lot no. 0902 or higher would guarantee you a Jasper.

Anyone want to buy a brand new JTAG'd Falcon 60GB Pro console for £160 ?

After going to HMV, John Lewis, Sainsbury's and two Games, I finally managed to find a Arcade manufactured in March 2009, in the last Game. The other one only came up with a 2007 model (so non-Jasper), HMV only had September/October 2009 and John Lewis only had one which was quite recent as well. Sainsbury's (well my local superstore) don't even stock 360s.

It's Lot 0915 Team ABIR and the Dash is 7363 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I know that I musn't update the dash and I won't be going online with this box, but I was wondering if there's a "safe" game I can use to stress test it, just so I can check it's not a dud before I start pulling it apart and void the warranty.

I managed to get 3 Jaspers from there, lot 0931 | team ABIR for two and the other was lot 0912 team FDOU.

I know for sure these are 256/512MB Jaspers that are mfg'd before mid June '09:

It'll be in January though. Read up on the xD mod and its not worth having it done.  I'll PM you when ready.

Yeah, just grab any launch game They were poorly coded and will push the hardware really well. Perfect Dark Zero is a good example

Thanks. I can pick that up for a few quid, so that's a nice cheap way to test it.

I got Sega Superstar Tennis, Lego Batman and Pure with my Arcade. Can I use my Kreon drive to check whether they (or any other game for that matter) will be OK to play without any risk of updating my Dash and disabling the JTAG?

I've found a bunch of new Arcade 360's sporting 21/7/2009 manufacture dates locally. Are these OK, or are they borderline for jtag?
