Thanks! Just picked it up off xbins, is the install for this the same as the other mb revisions? just extract / inject the kv.bin?

I would image it would be the same.

Flashed it last night, booted up my 256 like a champ. Unfortunately it looks like the internal memory is no longer recognized. Not a big deal though. Thanks team XBreboot! Going to have fun with this over the holiday!  biggrin.gif

btw, I followed the other xbreboot tutorials (extract / inject rawkv.bin and rawconfig.bin), just changed -w16 to -w256. Works perfect

I just ran an original game from the DVD drive and it took like over 30 seconds for the game to boot.  The game was Beatles Rock Band.  The game was fine after it booted.

Anyone else have the same issues with original games?

The game was installed to the Hard Drive prior to playing.

As for the Internal Memory not working, I wonder if anyone else is having the same issue and it will be fixed or is a known issue.

I wonder how the team will do updates.  Will we have to flash a new Nand image or will there be an update.xex program like the way Microsoft does it?

If r6t3 is removed after flashing the NAND with XBreboot, what happens when they realease a new XBreboot version?  Will I have to resolder r6t3 back on, or it can update without it now since it is hacked?

I'm pretty sure that all Arcade Jaspers have 256MB internal memory, so yes - it's more than likely a Falcon.

XBReboot uses virtual efuses so no need to solder r6t3 back on since we are using a hacked kernel.

Fantastic.  So removing the r6t3 will protect the xbox from possible updates which may come from xbox live (if you have the box conencted to the network) OR from a possible update from a game.

If you do not have r6t3 removed, could you leave it in if you just remove the "system update$" folder off any games before dumping them to your HDD and make sure that you never connect the box to the internet?

For everyone looking for a Jtagable xbox.  I may be able to obtain a small amount of Pre-8000 xbox's that I can JTAG and install XBReboot to.  I have a seller who will go thorough his entire lot of xbox's to find those with pre-8000 dashboards.  The price may vary depending on what, if anything, need to be fixed.  Most of them have broken DVD drives.  Anyone interested please PM me.

I don't know how many I can get, this will be first come first serve.  I also don't know what Motherboard revision these will have.  Everyone I get I will put the x-clamp fix in.

If motherboard revision matters please include that other wise I will send what ever I have.

Also, these units will not have any attachments, power cable, video cable or controllers or Hard Drives.  Thiss is for the console itself.
