latest M$ NXE dashboard supports ripping games to HDD. there is no "hack" needed.

insert disc, press Y, install to HDD, play using your game in the disc drive(for verification)

what you may have seen is an old Xbox 1 system.

Seems i was'nt clear. I know it's possible to install a game, but i ment it by playing without discs.

But hm, it actually went fast on local auction site, but it was only about 300. I can't find it anymore. It may have been then what you said, funkimon.

But well, so my only option for modding this is the disc-drive firmware patching. Well, i patch the drive, and install some better cooling.

not yet, currently you cant play any 360 games with a hacked console.

It makes perfect sense if you would stop to think about it. You're hacking the dvd drive. He meant a 360 with Xell installed.
