« on: March 13, 2008, 07:40:00 PM »

I have ordered a infectus 2 chip & programmer & timing attack addon

my elite is the first one to come out so is not a falcon and has a base kernal of 1888

just wondering if i should remove efuse resistor or just leave it in there

All i want todo is get my CPU Key Nothing else until homebrew is avalible (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ( Wish XBMC )

so i will update back to latest as i use xbox live and have two dvd drives one flashed for backups & original (unflashed) for live

I would remove it.  No need to 'burn' the fuses if you dont have to.  I've removed mine and havent had any issue with updates, etc..

Yes.  I have removed the resistor on mine and taken it back through all the XBL updates, to the current kernel.  No issues.
