360 Bios Tools
« on: October 15, 2007, 09:05:00 AM »

sorry to be a newb, i've been looking through the forums to find some bios software tools so i can put the dashboard back to it's original state but not finding anything concrete.

i've come across XBTOOL but the homepage is down and I can't find any tutorials on it. Does anyone know if this is for the 360 or the original xbox?

is there any other bios software that will let me get rid of the dashboard updates for the 360, i've read about a few other tools on this forum but it's only people mentioning the software in a thread rather than talking about it directly. I have read on one thread about FTP'ing onto the 360 and removing the files that way, I think that was the XBTOOL but i'm struggling to be honest so any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

I'm not a total newb so it doesn't matter how complicated the tools are, i've fixed my 360 and the red lights of death and done a bit of programming so i should be ok with any luck, don't need anyone to go into massive depth just what tools i should be using and then i can go read up on them.

many thanks

I believe you need an infectus to dump your NAND, and that should be all the tools you need (well, that, and the software they made for it).
