Hi I have an xbox360 here I just got from ebay it was sold as a non loading faulty xbox360 but when you fire it up you get an xbox 360 launcher screen

before the dash
from it you can select region selection and loads of other system settings also with a normal disc in drive it will scan and list all executables found

on the disk.
unfortunately it didn't come with a hard drive i'm just waiting for a reply back to see if the guy still has it in its original state.
it says at bottom right of page Flash:2255.0 XDK:2571.0
and at bottom in middle of screen it also says the name of the xbox360 and has the current i.p. address in brackets. interestingly it is different to the

i.p. address of the dashboard. i.e. I have DHCP router and it has two separate addresses reserved.
I just checked the nand flash and it is a SAMSUNG K9F1208U0B like the infectus says is a dev kit item.
Can you give me any help with getting this box to run games?
Do I need to have anything specific on the hard drive etc?

I'm not sure if it can be made to run retail games, but I'm sure there are some on here who would love to buy that from you. How much did you pay for it? Hell, I'd be interested in buying it, wanting to learn some more programming.

ok here is a ten min video clip of all the main settings plus a view of the dashboards reported version (BK:2255)
Also it shows the hard drive size (it's a run of the mill standard sata 2.5" hard drive) it doesn't seem fussed what type of drive is attached, it will still allow it to be formatted and used.

You Know you have a Dev kit right?? That could be a incredible breakthrough if one of the modders/programmers got a hold of that!

I was watching the Fable development episode 2 video on xbox live and I saw on one of the monitors there was the xbox 360 launcher and it looked exactly the same as these screenshots. I guess thats what this console has to do with... Just thought I should share this information.

Hi whats the fable dev video? I take it fable is a game?
Is this avail on uk xbox live or are you in the U.S?

Fable 2 is the game, There is a video called Lionhead Video Diary Episode 2 Video. I'm in the UK so yuo can download it. The bit with this screen is at 2:11 and it shows the top left corner saying "xbox 360 launcher" and below it "All Xbox 360 Executables". Just like your one.

Just a fluke.
was advertised as a faulty 360 since it won't boot retail discs
I have it listed back on ebay now currently almost 400 page hits and over 20 watchers but still only up to £51

Lets hope that some guy working for microsoft doesn't buy this. I'm guessing this xbox could be very useful to a 360 hacker.

Hopefully should go wild at 7.45 tomorrow morning.

I would be willing to let it go for xchange with a newish premium system(unblacklisted) if it was one of the serious players who specifically asked me for it on here. I'm not against putting something into the scene if it's going to go into the hands of someone who will stand a high chance of exploiting some previously undiscovered titbit.
What I don't want to do is just let it go cheap to anyone on the scene who asks for it saying they have the equipment and knowledge and plan to find a hole in it and make it publicly known to everyone, only to find out in a month or two it was someone involved with a modchip dev. outfit who were just going to make big bucks from it whilst I would prob be lucky to get a "thanks" from them for my troubles.
