Are you still working with that company and using that tool? Or was it only before the console was released? Do they still use the tool today? For upcoming games being released? Are you able to get your hands on one in the future? Did they 'supervise' you whilst using it? Or was it a free roam sort of tool? I know lots of questions right? That'd be quite a contribution to the scene if that wandered into our field. Cool information too.

No... I am no longer working for the company... but they still use it to this day for all pre-release games... we weren't so much supervised whilst using the tool, we were put into several teams of 7 ppl, 6 testers and 1 team leader but it was all pretty much free roam and very relaxed atmosphere.

Yes I am, thank you. Not to be mean but we do have this kind of stuff happen a lot, sorry if I upset those who did believe. The information you give is convincing to say the least, a 1888 Tool huh, was it supplied by "Microsoft" or the "Volt" company?
haha I know what you mean about all the my uncles, brothers, cousin works for MS etc... so I understand your initial dis-belief
The tool itself was supplied by Microsoft... in the building we worked in there were actually 2 MS offices within that were manned by 2 members of the UK Xbox team... and all bugs etc that we found were sent directly to Microsoft for analysis and a bug fix.
I'm hoping someone out there has access to this tool or the ability to recreate it at least... as I believe this could be a huge help in development of future mods, or even just getting a one up on MS, lol
