Now that there making a little progress with bios flashing, is this possible of fixing those bricked E71 xboxes form the shitty patch day?

M$ Refused to fix mine regardless (even tho they stated it would be replaced in an email)

any hope for my bricked E71 box or no?

Sorry but I hate it when people mislabel things (like when people say softmod a 360 too), you mean firmware flash.

As far as I know e71 has never been able to be fixed by anyone but M$.

I have heard from one guy though that removing the HDD at a certain timing and putting it back in at a certain time seems to bypass it, I can't confirm it works though, just what he said.

yea it sucks M$ said they would fix my 360 even tho it was *opened*, and it still came back saying tampered with..

gotta wait i guess (ive tried the hdd/dvd) tricks but they dont work (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

i miss my 360...hehehe

but not enough to go buy another one just yet!

I think he means expirements with the on board flash on the motherboard of 360 itself. Someone should try to see if they can revive a e71 360 by removing last patch added to it.

Bump!,
I keep getting the same error, sometimes at boot, have to try 3-5times to turn on..then playing games 15min into it. I bought this xbox off ebay as "Xbox 360 Great Condition *Needs Disk Read Repair* . I was hoping it was a heat gun fix cause that i know how to do.

Any ideas ?

Well that Dump tool is really getting my attention, ive NEVER been able to get into the dashboard since my E71...

if i could...id just pop in a new cd with the latest update on it and hope it works...

sucks having a 360 just sitting here as a doorstop
