Use Old 120gb Official Hdd In Windows
« on: September 23, 2011, 09:37:00 AM »

Sorry if it's been asked before, I did search.

I've got an official 120gb drive that I recently replaced with a bigger one, so the old drive is just sitting there doing nothing. I've bought a 2.5" caddy to try and get some use out of it as an external USB drive, but I assume it must need formatting for WIndows, if it'll work at all.

Has anyone succeeded with this? Is it possible or is the 120gb drive only useful as a spare Xbox 360 drive now?

Thanks

Yeah it will be fine, just format it in disk management.

make sure you backup your hddss.bin first or it will never work in a xbox360 ever again!
