Can't Format Hard Drive?
« on: December 13, 2010, 11:30:00 AM »

I've just updated my console to the 12611 freeboot as I was running XBR3.

Before I updated I could create profiles, create folders (file manager) etc.

AFTER I updated I no longer can make new profiles or folders on my 20Gb hdd (official MS)

When I try to make a new profile it hangs on a blank box which can only be closed by pressing the 'X' button in the middle of the pad.
If I try to create a directory (Freestyle, XEXloader etc) or format the HDD I get the following error:

Xbox Live
This function is unavailable
Please try again later...
Status Code: d000007b

Just flashed back to the XBR image I backed up, I can format the HDD no probs. I don't think the HDD is faulty as I ripped 2 games onto it (to test) and everything went fine.

My console is Xenon mobo with standard JTAG wiring.

Any ideas?
