I have tried this new bios and it seems alright because of the new feature with images in many colors on bootscreen, but is there anything else to this bios? When I run it it says "Config ...something" but there's no menu for configuring the bios, it just boots my normal dashboard. Besides of that the "Config ... something" text shows for far too long, it just takes too much time, the bios should boot instantly like previous versions. Can anyone introduce me to take more advantage of this bios?

The reason the text gets displayed on the screen for a long time, is that this
BIOS is "config" controlled by your "custom" INI file located on the E: drive.

Problem is, the XBOX now has to wait until your hard drive UNLOCKs and
gets up to full RPM speed, to be able to READ your "custom" INI file from
the E: drive.

That is the "techie" reason for the LONG wait with that "crappy" text line on
the screen.

If you have a newer larger hard drive and it is unlocked, I notice the wait
time is not as long.

Older XBOX's (v1.0) with slow older hard drives, have the longest wait,
plus others I have seen with 2,000 or more save files (I guess drive is
badly in need of defragging).

Oh'well still a NICE BIOS RELEASE, oh'tho they could have had some
type of "splash" screen showing on boot-up, instead of waiting thru with
that "crappy" text line, but then users would have wanted to be able to
change the default start-up "splash" screen, and that would not be able
to be done without hard-coding it into the BIOS file.

mine only takes like 4 seconds , Hard Drive is unlocked.

IF YOU STILL REMEMBER, WE USE XBTOOL TO CONFIG THE X2 4981 BIOS.
HERE IS MY X2 4981 CONFIG:

HOW DO I CONFIG X2 5028 LIKE THE ABOVE?

I cant seem to get my custom logo to work. I made it 180x50 px in photoshop and saved as an 8 bit BMP named x2logo on my E drive. No luck.

Any ideas?

What are the alternatives to 5028, I want a bios that is quicker than 5028, but it need to support custom logos in 256 colors and it needs to be live blocking and all the settings should stay within the bios, not in some .INI file on the harddrive, does such a bios exist?

An older Xcuter BIOS like the 4--- series or Ind-Bios with the config injector.
