That's not the same thing, though. This tutorial is for converting the HDD for Windows use, not Xbox1 use.

This is an Xbox360 Forums is it not
it is not for Xbox1 use
It for people who what to use there extra HDD as an External HDD and can be used for both XBOX 360 , Windows

OK then. I've just figured that out. However, this method is for pure-Windows, meaning there is no Xbox 360 files left after the conversion. Works well as a drive you can carry around, without having to also carry extra software to access it with you. I heard the latest system update supports USB mass storage, so you might also be able to plug it into the front and use it. (Though not to store gamesaves and such.) It most likely won't work on the top slot.
