Recover Original Ms 120gb Hdd
« on: January 26, 2010, 11:22:00 PM »

Hi everyone!

I have a original MS 120gb HDD (Fujitsu) that (stupidly) has been formatted to ntfs  mad.gif
Now I have to get it working in the Xbox360 again.I have formatted it with FAT32 but it still doesnt show up in the Xbox or Xplorer. I have a PC with VIA Sata Card and the unofficial transfer cable with Xport,Xplorer...
How do I format it to work again in the Xbox? Thanks for your help!

it will never work on your 360 again

use it on a jtag console or sell it to someone with a jtag console

the only way you could get it to work is if you saved the security sector from that drive (No other drives security sector will work).  If you do have it place it in a directory with hddhacker and act like you are moding a wd drive and it will place the security sector in the right place on the drive and you can even have it make the partitions for you.  use the wrong security sector and it will fail.
