Thanks.  Although all I've done is to prove that NghtShd's Xbpartitioner 32K cluster size mod works.

in theory the 32k cluster could take us over a terabyte (since you can have 512 F + 512 G)

Excellent work Paulb.

My only concern is with the added slack space that files are going to use up now that the cluster size has doubled.

Big thanks to Paul for taking the time to run the test (and making his own tools for doing so).

If you have a lot of small files this could be an issue, but either way I think it's worth the tradeoff. If the average space lost with 16k clusters is 8k and the average lost with 23k clusters is 16k then it would take 131,072 files before you lost 1GB more than you lose with 16k clusters.

In the older versions(such as v1.0), Is there a limit of 120GB?

No there is not - all versions are the same.

Just use an appropriate bios with LBA48 support for 137gb+ HD.

nice work, tho the average user won't make use of this(drives that big cost allot chedda), but this is still a great find. this could be extra helpful if say there was a way 2 Hook up 2 Seperate HDDs plus the DVD Drive in, like a Special Enclosure that holds 2 or more HDDs, then it would send an Recieve Signals an Place the Files 2 the HDDs while Confusing the System 2 beleave it's only 1 Drive, then we could get Larger partitions(and get closer to the 2.1Tb Limit), buying 8 250Gb HDDs and having them hooked to this Kinda setup could allow us 2 hit 2Tb, now that'd be some money into an XBOX mod
