I tried Yoshi's hacked x3 2913 on my smartxx. It works fine except for the rolling video. It looks like its forcing my video to PAL. How do I fix this? Also, I'm using the HDTV pack so do I need to customize it for that too?

first off, you have to unpack the bios, secondly x2 chips can use 1024k bioses, and lastly the eeprom settings that would normally be in the x3 eeprom are not what is being hex edited, the hex edits you have to do are being done to the default settings that come with the bios.

I have x2 Pro modchip on my xbox v1.2. I just wonder if l can use any hacked X3 bios on my modchip. I also have some other questions too:

1/ X3 Patcher Beta v1.1 by Yoshihiro and Hyperstar to edit features of the X3 2914 bios so you can flash on any mod chip. Is that right?

2/ X3 2914 BIOS hacked which tested on Smartxx modchip on xbox 1.6. Does anyone use this on any other modchip like X2 and on other xbox version?

I am looking for an X3 bios hacked for my x2 modchip, xbox v1.2. Please help.

roadkiller, it will work on your pro chip, and why would you even bother taking the time to ask and wait for an answer if you have a pro chip? if it messes up somehow, REFLASH and you're set.

I had the same problem at first. Just goto http://www.dll-files.com/ and download the dll files that you are missing. They come zipped so just unzip and put the dll files into your windows\system folder then it should open fine. As far as using the patched bios I have yet to get it to work.

Anyone have had any sucess using an patched x3 bios 1.0 -> 1.5 on an smartxx chip ?

Tried flashing it, but everytime i use it.
It just shutdowns and reboots back into the smartxx menu.
