Hi,

I am a new member here looking for an answer. I have bought a WD2500BEVT hard drive, which I have successfully turned into 120GB HDD, and before a few days into a 250GB one. HDDHackr 1.22 showed no mistakes, everything went well (except the "doesn't match firmware info" part, which I assume isn't a big problem). Besides that, I didn't make the 0,2,3 partitions with the HDDhackr option, because when I did so, the 360 didn't recognize the HDD. When i selected "no" at that choice and plugged it in, the xbox saw the HDD and everything seemed to be OK, good size, format was working etc.

I then transfered my partition 3 stuff to it and the HDD was still working (with the 250GB version of xplorer360). The problem is in game installation. I can install one game, then a second one, and the thirg game always throws "disc is unreadable/dirty" error (all games are backup DVDs). It doesn't matter which DVD it is, (i tried them circularly) the third one cannot install (it can install without problems if it is second or first, though). That time the HDD has ~217GB free, and there is a corrupted installed game inside it, 44kB in size (always).

I thought it may be a conflict with sth else in the HDD, so I formatted it and tried again. Same sh*t.

Has it happened to anyone else? What should I do?

P.S.1: As far as the error is concerned, when it appears I have only one choice, to press "OK". But then the 360 completely stucks there and the only way is to press the Power Button.

P.S.2: I think the same thing was happening when it was a 120GB HDD, but I guess I didn't notice.

P.S.3: I don't know if it's relevant, but I have Jasper Arcade version with LiteOn 74580c and 1.6 Ixtreme Firmware.
