Any Harddrive With Xbr?
« on: December 13, 2009, 12:58:00 AM »

Hey guys, I read somewhere on Xboxhacker that you could use any size Sata laptop drive after flashing and running XBR on your 360.  I saw a picture where someone used a 160gb laptop drive and it formatted to 144GB.  Is this true?  I haven't been able to find anymore information on the subject anywhere..

Thanks smile.gif

xplorer apps only support hds of certain size, so ull only be able to read/write to 20gb 60gb 120gb and such hds depending on which version of xplorer u use...

i have a 100gb laptop hd in my 360, formated it from xbr, but then was unable to use xplorer to copy files from my official 20gb hd... i had to use xexloader to copy my game saves demos etc... im a little worried since xbr formated my hd with a single partition and im not sure if this is good or bad, but oh well it seems to be working just fine for now...
