Hi all,
I'm still learning how all the content signing stuff works, so bear with me on this post.
I had a 360 console that was banned in the last wave and then red-ringed and wouldn't come back.
Tip of advice - Don't buy second hand consoles. You don't know where they've been, or how long they will last!
The problem is this. My content was licensed to my old console and the license transfer thingy on the MS site won't let me transfer my licenses till Feb as that was when I last did this with the old console. It seems that 1 year between transfers is longer than the life span of a console!
Is there a way I can reassign the content to my new console through hacking and stuff?
I know how to connect the HDD to my PC and have backed up my data. I just have no idea what to do from there, and if re-assigning the content is even possible.
I know that I can access my content if I connect to Live, but that isn't always an option, and Guitar Hero 5 won't let me play any downloaded songs unless I connect to live. In fact, it even restarts the game if I highlight the song in the song list.
Thanks for reading,
Dave.
