it wont launch anything........ it is on a xecuter 2.6 chip. it doesnt launch anything. it boots up fine, but once its time to launch something, it acts like it is going to then turns into a black screen. i dont know what to do. can someone help....?

Did you tried reflashing the bios again ?

load it in bank2 and boot it from there. evox bios and 2.6 have issues when loading from bank 1.

how do i load it to bank 2? plus then what do i do for the cromwell flashbios? its on bank 2. can i put it on bank 1 somehow?

I dont suspect the mod chip. I think if you are getting to a menu then the chip must be good. It could it be a problem with your evox or something? If you know someone with a working modded xbox I would try your hard drive in theirs. I suspect the same issue will repeat.

well thats just it, its the retail hdd and i also formatted a 250gig and installed everything and it still did it. ive never had probs with the disc im using to install either i have used it on 12 xboxes so far. is there an xecuter bios out that supports v1.6 xbox's very well? i know the m8+ 1.6 does, but i like xecuter personally, plus i reflashed and had avalaunch as default dash and it did the same thing. as well as unleash x. these are all with the m8 bios tho......

edit: im also fairly new to modchips.... ive tsoped flashed lots of boxes. then again the modchip i had was the matrix modchip on my old ass v1.0 xbox. which up until 2 weeks ago i still owned. lol.... matrix modchip.....

okay... i put flash bios on bank 1 and flashed m8+ on bank 2 and now bank 2 is fragged..... im gonna retry to flash the whole chip at once with flash bios on 2 and and m8+ back on 1 to c if it frags bank 1. cuz it was working fine earlier....

didnt frag bank 1 but it still launches nothing.....
