Bit new, trying to get this all sorted out. I know that the 2 drives ms has released have specific signatures that allow them to be read, one for the 20gb and one for the 120gb. I have a 20gb harddrive and I am going to buy a big-o WD Scorpio to mod. I am going to use my 20gb hdd to make the .bin file, but I was just a bit confused as to how MY 20gb harddrive could make a 120gb signature... does hddhackr do that automatically or do i have to do something special? No point in buying a bigger drive if i can't get the space. :S

You need the bin file from a 120GB drive to do it either from a drive of your own or somebody else's but as it's a copyrighted file you won't find it here.
