Looking For Via Sata Pcmcia Card?
« Reply #15 on: May 17, 2009, 03:27:00 PM »

bought this card, tested on two laptops and no joy. Card is being recognised in XP but no drives (either x360 drives or sata hdds).
Tried different drivers, but every time it is being installed as via 3249. Anyone had similar problems?

Thanks

windows will not recognize the drive, it will detect in jungleflasher under your via port

i have used 2 driver sets that call the device

via vt6421 and via 3249

both worked fine.

please refer to the jungleflasher site and use the latest guide. Keep in mind you will have to disable the driver as described in the jungleflasher guide (appendix section, page 70 i think) to flash a lite on drive.

I did that, I've also replaced the driver with uniata, but still no joy. By saying that no drive is recognised in Win I meant standard SATA hard drive.
I requested RMA from company, it maybe just buggy card. Thanks for the finding anyway!

Thanks for this Post I can Flash Drives on My Dell Latitude D630 Running Vista.

I got it to Flash BenQ,LiteOn and Hit Drives with this card. I had to do a few thing. I'm Not gonna lie, it took me about 2 days to get this card to work right. I had to manual_install PortIO32 Drivers, I had to delete the 6421 Drivers and reinstalled them. I also trimmed off some off the plastic off the sata cable cus it didnt fit right. Once I did that i was able to Flash a Bricked Benq Drive i had. Before i fixed the problem my BenQ drive would Lock up my computer as i would power up the drive...

I bought this card as well. Im using a vista laptop, and its not detecting anything. I installed portIO and the drivers, couldn't get it to find any drive. I also tried plugging in my harddrive to the sata, and it didn't pick anything up. I uninstalled the driver and when I plug in the card, it installs and says ready, but wont find my hard drive or xbox dvd drive in Jungle flasher.

Can somebody please help? I flash on my desktop, but its not very mobile. What should I change or check for in the bios?

Hi people im new here, i just found folder on my xbox 360 hdd with ful game instaled ( there are many files called data(three digits)-around 160MB in size- i know this is my game copied from DVD ) but these files haven't any extention so i dont know what type they are and can't open them.
I will apriciate if anybody can tell me how tu extract these files.
I also found demo games filec but i can open them with wx pirs. If there is any program to extract ful game files then maby u can simply convert and save original game on hdd (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
