Wd1200bevs Won't Work With 360
« on: February 22, 2009, 06:35:00 PM »

Was it a new drive? Also if it was did you flash it straight out the box? What I would try is use hddhackr to undo the flash by doing "hddhackr -u" this will use the undo.bin file you made when you first flashed the drive. Then i would go into windows and format the drive. After that now try reflashing the drive with hddhackr and see if you get past the error you have.

Tried that.  It didn't work.  I have looked into this problem a bit and have figured out that some SATA chipsets just don't work for the flashing.  I will try another computer tomorrow.  I REALLY need to get this working since my 20gb borked after connecting it to the computer.

If you can help me with the 20gb problem I would be very appreciative.
